Workplace Planning in the Midst of the Great Resignation

The Great Resignation is a trend that began in early 2021 where a record-breaking number of employees began quitting their jobs. This wave of resignations has left businesses wondering what to do with their office space. To properly evaluate your real estate needs, it’s important to address three major topics.

Make sure to create alignment with company leadership over your work from home policy, and communicate to employees what workplace style (remote, hybrid, in-office) you will be utilizing. Additionally, try to find a location that has access to great amenities so that employees enjoy coming into the office. Also, make sure to design your space well, offering great functionality to entice your workers away from their home offices.
