Minneapolis-St. Paul West Market Office Update | 2021

Throughout the pandemic, the suburbs have seen the most leasing activity in the Twin Cities, and the West Office Market, located along the I-394 corridor, has continued to be a clear leader.

New projects, like 10 West End, are finding success signing new tenants, such as HDR engineering and CarVal Investors. Traditional landlords are staying competitive by creating their own co-working spaces in the market. The owners of West End Office Park created their own co-working space, Abridge @ West End Center, to compete with brands like Life Time Work, which also has office space in the west metro.

The pandemic and civil unrest in the CBD has led downtown tenants to reconsider their current office location. The West Market’s proximity to Downtown Minneapolis, easy interstate access, free parking, and walkable amenities have tempted these downtown tenants to consider a move to the suburbs. With current tenants satisfied and new tenants on the horizon, the West Market will continue to find leasing success.
